Semester operating budget

Where does the money go? - All money goes back into chapter house or active fraternity.  For example - property taxes, home improvements, utilities, internet, trash removal, cable, etc..

Who decides where the money goes? – Monthly expenses are automatic, large expenditures are voted by majority decision on Housing Committee or Executive Board

Board of Directors / Organizational Structure

Housing Committee – sets and receives rent, fund raising revenue, establishes chapter house operating budget, responsible for chapter house decision making, renovations, repairs.  Currently Co-Chaired – Director of Operations and Treasurer serve on committee.  Parent Rep would be welcome.

Alumni Association – members pay dues, entitlting them to vote on fraternity/AA issues.  Get access to fraternity business forums.  Able to hold office in Alumni Association.  Annual meeting.  Directors serve 2 years?

Active Membership – Full time students - inducted by Associate Member program – Does not discriminate on basis of color, creed, ethnicity etc.  DOES NOT INFLICT PHYSICAL, MENTAL, OR EMOTIONAL DURESS PROSPECTS OR MEMBERS.  OPPOSED TO/DOES NOT “HAZE”  Provides housing for members.  Performs community service, social work and donates time and money to charitable organizations. Interacts within Greek Community by serving on Greek Councils, holding functions with other Greeks. Provides a sense of family.  An associate immediately acquires over one hundred brothers (active and alumni), that are genuinely concerned for his welfare, health, academic standing, and career -post undergraduate study.
